If you have Solidworks installed on the same machine as Composer, then you DO NOT need the Solidworks Importer. Don’t worry – it comes with your purchase of Composer, there’s nothing extra to buy. If you want to use Composer on a computer that does not have Solidworks installed on it and you want to be able to work with Solidworks files, then you DO need the Solidworks Importer.
